On Monday, Starbucks (NASDAQ:) announced a revamped global leadership structure, promoting Michael Conway to the role of CEO for its North American operations and Brady Brewer as CEO of Starbucks International.

Since joining Starbucks in 2013, Conway has climbed the ranks, recently holding the position of group president for international and channel development.

Brewer, in his new capacity, will be responsible for guiding the teams in the Asia Pacific, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Japan regions, along with managing the company’s international licensed partners.

The new changes will take effect April 1, the company said.

Starbucks also highlighted that its operations in China will remain under the leadership of co-CEOs Belinda Wong and Molly Liu, who will directly report to the global CEO, Laxman Narasimhan.

Moreover, the company announced its plans to soon name a global brand creative leader, who will also report directly to Narasimhan.

“As we look to the future, the opportunity we have is truly limitless,” said Narasimhan.

“Throughout our history, we have continued to reinvent not who we are or what we stand for, but what we do and how we connect with our customers and deliver our long-term aspirations.”
